Customer Service Rep-Manhattan Region
Department Marketing Statement
The Customer Care Center (CCC) serves as a single point of contact for callers inquiring about VNSNY programs and services. After the agency¿s normal business hours, it provides telephone-based clinical interventions, handles home health aide concerns, and facilitates the resolution of evening/overnight patient care issues.
CCC is a 24 X 7 operation and operates 365 days. It is located at our mid-town Manhattan facility.
We are seeking talent for the opportunity described below.
Receives/responds/returns inbound phone calls. Screens incoming telephone calls to determine customer needs and to facilitate timely and appropriate services. Provides timely and effective customer service to prospective external clients/customers in accordance with departmental and Agency standards. Determines customer needs and responds in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Works under general direction.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent, required. Bachelors Degree in Communications, English, Public Relations (equivalent work experience) or related field, or the equivalent, preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years customer service experience preferably in a health care setting, required. Effective oral/verbal communication and customer service skills, required. PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel, required. Bilingual skills may be required, as determined by operational needs required.
