JOB DESCRIPTION:
Help Desk Specialist-Microsoft Windows XP/Vista
Support 24x7 Service Desk by answering phone system and tracking incoming phone calls for support from customer base. Document service request, system incidents and problems escalate higher level support for more technical issues.
Will be expected to document conversation accurately while providing courteous service to the customer base. Will be responsible for following documented procedures to assist in closing known issues. Will be required to follow established procedures for documenting all calls and for properly escalating all issues and requests.
Will be required to obtain DoD mandated commercial certifications and Information Assurance (IA) training as required.
Daily Responsibilities Continued This project is associated with the Army National Guard's Enterprise Operations and Security Services (EOSS) GN XXI project.

Must be courteous and keep a level head at all times. Must have some IT experience or background. Must be able to work with a Microsoft Windows XP and Vista workstation. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007.
