Systems Integration: Provide Technology Solution Development and Integration across the SDLC including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment. Asset Intelligence - System Integration
Deloitte Consulting's Systems Integration (SI) area drives the design and implementation of custom software, technology enabled business solutions and related advisory services. Systems Integration is focused on: design & development of custom business solutions, custom extensions to enterprise applications, testing strategy, support & design services and the migration of legacy technology to open architectures.
Essential Functions:
A Senior Consultant in Systems Integration is involved in the design and implementation of custom technology-enabled business solutions .
* Senior Consultants work within an engagement team and are not responsible for project management.
* Responsibilities include, among others, identify business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.
Asset Intelligence SI Senior Consultants candidates are required to have:
* 3+ years of relevant technology architecture consulting or industry experience.
* 3+ years of experience implementing large-scale custom development and/or systems integration projects across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.
* 2+ experience with J2EE development and application architecture
* 2+ years Industrial Automation/Machine Control design, programming, implementation in a variety of manufacturing environments
* 2+ years experience implementing SCADA or remote monitoring systems
* Ability to travel at least 80% of the time nationally to client locations.
Qualified Senior Consultant candidates are also required to have at least one full lifecycle project experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Middleware Implementations.
* Leveraging overall technical architecture knowledge across multiple industries.
* Business process analysis, mapping, and design.
* Requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis.
* Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
* Testing, including all phases: System, Integration, and Performance Testing and ensuring traceability.
In addition, successful Senior Consultants will also have the following preferred skills:
* Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following:
* Industrial automation controls - PLC and PC-based
* M2M, Remote monitoring or SCADA systems
* Sensors and actuators
* Working knowledge of relational databases, OOP, networking, reporting tools
* Comfortable interfacing with union personnel, supervisors and management
* Software troubleshooting and support
* XML, SQL
* IT Strategy initiatives.
* Experience with Adobe Tools including Life Cycle ES or Flex.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
* An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred.
