JOB DESCRIPTION:
Database Report Developer
Our team is responsible for maintenance and support of all internal database application software for all infrastructure teams (Finance, HR, Legal, Operation and Technology Services). We also develop all internal reports for all of these systems and provide the data on the intranet. We also help users identify new software and partner with 3rd parties to handle implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Report requirements gathering
- Design and develop reports using MS SQL Reporting Services 2005/2008
- Quality Assurance & Testing
- Provide maintenance and support for all internal application system including user and server supports
- Precisely document all report design, data structures, applications and procedures
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have working experience with: - ASP, .NET, XML, and MS SharePoint
- MS DBA experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, fluid work environment
- Ability to ride a fast learning curve - Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow through with tasks to their completion - Strong analytical skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent - 2 - 3 year working experience in related field
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks
- Highly motivated; works well independently or in small teams
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and time management skills
- 2 years of relevant experience using MS SQL Reporting Services, DTS and T-SQL.
- Strong understanding of relational database
- Strong knowledge of Epicor /MS Dynamic ( or similar) account software
- Strong knowledge of SQL and previous experience with stored procedures
- Knowledge of report QA testing to make sure the new functionality works properly
- Strong knowledge of Epicor /MS Dynamic ( or similar) account software
